NFPs have a set of rules a regulations that mean doing business is done in a way that can be unique and be governed by protocol and red tape. You also expect your website to give you different things other businesses don’t need. These could be leads, donations, sign ups, social follows, reporting tools or white paper publications. You might run one fund raising drive every year or you may have many campaigns on the go at any one time.
At the end of the day you work in a NFP for a reason – to help the group of people your NFP was set up to help. Your website should be helping you on that quest and you should be expecting to squeeze the most value out of this resource as possible.
